Compliance & Safety

Our Unwavering Commitment to Dubai's Regulatory Framework for Gas Systems

At TARRERGAZ, we do not see Dubai's regulatory framework as a burden, but as a shield—a guarantee of safety for lives and properties. Our work follows a disciplined process, with each stage validated by authority approval to ensure every installation is secure, compliant, and built to last.

The Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) under the UAE Ministry of Interior is the primary authority for gas installations in buildings. All LPG/Natural Gas systems must be reviewed and approved by DCD under the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code (Chapter 11 for LPG systems). Dubai Municipality (DM) enforces building codes (including MEP) and issues building permits that cover internal gas piping. In free-zone areas (e.g. TECOM, DDA zones), the local authority (Dubai Development Authority) and master developer coordinate approvals alongside DCD. DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority) handles utility hookups and issues connection permits after DCD sign-off. Approved gas suppliers (Emirates Gas, Lootah BCGas, Smart Gas, etc.) inspect and connect new systems after all approvals.

"At TARRERGAZ, compliance isn't just paperwork—it is our identity. Gas systems carry risk that must be reduced to zero. We embrace this responsibility because safety admits no compromise."
